The analysis of relationship between electricity consumption and economic growth can provide support for industrial policies and energy saving and emission reduction policies,which is conducive to the development of electric power and economy,and important for solving energy,economy and environment problems.Traditional analysis of energy economy mainly focuses on total analysis,which is not conducive to discovering the relationship from perspective of industry.Analysis from the perspective of industry can be analyzed more precisely,which is really important for making energy saving and emission reduction policies.Analysis of relational network by using social network analysis can mine inherent relationship which is of great significance for solving industry problems.This paper chooses the data of quarterly electricity consumption and economic growth in Beijing from 2005 to 2016.Firstly,X13 season adjustment method is used for eliminating the seasonal impact.Then,non-linear Granger causality test method is introduced to build the relational network.Finally,social network analysis is employed to study electricity consumption and economic growth relational network.By analyzing electricity consumption relational network and economic growth relational network,the relationship between industries can be learned from different perspective.The results show that the importance of the industry from different perspective is quite different which means that different industries may have different attributes from different perspective.Therefore,specific analysis should be made when making industrial policy.By analyzing cross-relational network of electricity consumption and economic growth,the relationship between electricity consumption and economic growth can be studied from an industrial perspective.The results show that the economic growth of the industry,the economic growth of the construction industry,the electricity consumption of the real estate industry is the most important member of the network.Through the cohesive subgroup analysis,the electricity consumption of the industry and the economic growth of the industry can be clearly divided into different subgroups,indicating that the electricity consumption of the industry and the economic growth of the industry have distinct attributes in the cross-relational network.
