The Rresearch On The Coordination Degree Of New Urbanization And Agricultural Modernization In Gansu Province

The new type of urbanization was formally put forward at the eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,which is emphasizing people as the core,not excessively pursuing the city scale and the peasants' shift from rural areas to cities and the transition from the agricultural industries to the non-agricultural industries,but pursuing rational distribution of population and economic activities in geographical space,and still attaching great important to the important role played by small and medium-sized towns.General Secretary Xi Jinping puts forward the strategy of prospering the countryside at the nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the most essential measure is giving priority to developing the rural agriculture.The foundation of agriculture is modernization.We need to build a modern agricultural production,management and industrial system,promote scientific and technological progress and innovation,and construct the road of agricultural modernization which is efficient,high-quality,resource-saving and environment-friendly.The coordinated development of new urbanization and agricultural modernization is not only an important step in building a moderately prosperous society and deepening reform,but also the necessary way for Gansu Province to narrow the regional gap between the rich and the poor,solve the issue of agriculture,rural areas and farmers and promote the overall healthy development ofGansu province.Firstly,this article carries out the literature reviews about the new urbanization,agricultural modernization,the coordinated development between the two,empirical research,development approaches and other aspects,makes brief comments,and determines the theme direction.Secondly,this paper elaborates the connotation and related theories of new urbanization and agricultural modernization.On the basis of this,this article analyzes the current situation of new urbanization and agricultural modernization in Gansu Province and establishes the interactive relationship and mechanism of action between the two.Then,the paper establishes a comprehensive evaluation index system of new urbanization and agricultural modernization respectively,finds out the data of Gansu Province from 2005 to 2015,uses the principal component analysis method to get the evaluation scores of the two,and uses the concept of coupling coordination degree to carry out the coordinated measurement analysis on new urbanization and agricultural modernization.The empirical result founds that the coordinated relationship between the new urbanization and agricultural modernization is from a serious imbalance to high-quality coordination,which demonstrates there exists a mutual promotion relationship.Finally,on the basis of empirical analysis,combining with the current situation in Gansu Province,this paper analyzes the existing problems of coordinated development of newurbanization and agricultural modernization in Gansu Province,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions pertinently,involving continuing to accelerate the process of new urbanization,optimizing the industrial structure,increasing investment in agriculture and supporting technological innovation,promoting the integration of urban and rural areas,at the same time,not forgetting the protection and governance of environment and promoting the coordinated development of new urbanization and agricultural modernization in Gansu Province to ensure to keep pace with the whole country.
