Narrowing The Income GAP Between Urban And Rural Residents In Guizhou Province Under The Background Of New Urbanization

Since the reform and opening up has gone through 30 years,the deepening of urbanization has accelerated the pace of economic development,and the income of urban and rural residents has been significantly increased.But because of the existence of traditional urbanization problems in the development process,the government pays more attention to the development of cities and towns,market intervention too much and city biased policy makes the population urbanization rate of urbanization levels improved rapidly,but ignored the problem of coordinated development of rural areas.As a representative of less developed provinces in Guizhou,the overall income level of residents is not high,but the imbalance between urban and rural development is more prominent,and the income gap between urban and rural residents is very serious.The new urbanization concept put forward,trying to solve the problems existing in the process of traditional urbanization,based on the development of human beings.The new urbanization aims at improving the quality and promoting the coordinated development of urban and rural areas.Therefore,it is of great significance to study how to promote the coordinated development of urban and rural economy and narrow the income gap between urban and rural residents by promoting the development of new urbanization in Guizhou province.This paper first analyzes and compares the similarities and differences between traditional urbanization and new urbanization,theoretical analysis on narrowing the income gap between urban and rural residents in the context of new urbanization in the transfer of rural surplus labor force,economic growth,and the upgrading of industrial structure,urban and rural public goods supply in four aspects.Secondly,compare Guizhou province according to the 1980-2016 data of the income gap between urban and rural residents,and with the national important province and northeast,central and western regions,the eastern region of comparative study,to explore the purpose of income gap between urban and rural residents in Guizhou Province before the situation.Then,analysis of the province's nine city,the urban-rural income gap is studied by using hierarchical clustering,and found that only Guiyang city is at a reasonable level,the other 8 city in the income gap between urban and rural residents have a greater risk.Thirdly,through the establishment of new urbanization evaluation system,the new urbanization level of Guizhou province is calculated by entropy weight method.Then,the VAR model is established by selecting the level of human capital,the proportion of government expenditure to GDP,and the per capita GDP as the control variables.The influence of four influencing factors on the income gap between urban and rural residents in Guizhou province was studied by quantitative analysis.The results show that,in addition to the level of economic development indicators,the other three variables can effectively narrow the income gap between urban and rural residents,the level of new urbanization development is the most significant.Finally,according to the above theoretical and empirical analysis,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions of narrowing the income gap between urban and rural residents in the process of new urbanization in Guizhou province.
