Since the construction of international tourism islands,Hainan Province has been developing rapidly in tourism.Now,the tertiary industry with tourism as a leader has become a pillar industry in Hainan Province.At the same time,Hainan tourism has gradually been transformed from sightseeing tourism to leisure tourism.The leisure and holiday areas are also expanding what are gradually advancing toward the beautiful countryside.The rapid development of rural leisure resorts has also promoted the needs of the village.However,it should be pointed out that most of the rural homestay in Hainan Province are built and managed by the operators themselves.The quality and creativeness of the hotels have not been fully reflected.As for the creation of a brand,the country house could not meet the different needs of tourists and failed to form a group-type development.Compared with the rapid development of the hotel industry in the area,the development of the rural homestay in the area has lagged behind.The reasons are mainly due to the lack of understanding of the rural leisure and holiday market in the region,the incomplete infrastructure,and the lack of promoting local cultural quality,which makes the attractiveness of the rural homestay still notable.Therefore,it is particularly important to carry out research on the characteristics of the rural resort market in Hainan and determine the core attraction of the hotel in the district,and then provide a reference for the healthy and rapid development of rural homestay in the region.This article takes the core attraction of Hainan rural homestay as the research object,conducts field surveys by selecting four representative villages,conducts interviews and questionnaires for tourists,and conducts detailed analysis of the interviews and questionnaires to discuss the tourism of Hainan rural homestay.The attractive factors and perception experience projects ultimately determine the core attraction of the country house and put forward the development strategy of Hainan rural homestay and on the basis of which provides a theoretical basis for the healthy development of Hainan rural homestay.Based on numerous references at home and abroad,this study uses push-pull theory,related theory of subject-object relationship,rural-related theory,two-factor theory,and other related theories to establish an index system for evaluating attractiveness.Simultaneously,complete the questionnaire on the core attraction of Hainan rural homestay and conduct field surveys and interviews according to local situation.On analysis method,first of all,524 questionnaires were collected for descriptive statistical analysis,and the demographic characteristics of the tourists were obtained.Then,the use of frequency statistics,mean statistics,regression analysis,and other analytical means to explore the various factors left behind the impression of tourists and the relationship between influence and each factor ultimately determines the core attraction of the rural homestay in the area.The results of the study indicate that the main attraction factors for Hainan's rural homestay are: the comfortable inner courtyard of the homestay,special catering,homestay culture and folk-custom experience projects,rural natural scenery,architectural features and interior decoration,the owner's cultural literacy.Surrounding environment of the homestay and service attitude.In the frequency statistics,the attractive factors selected by the tourists in the frequency of?70% of the frequency statistics are: the warm and comfortable layout of the bed and breakfast,local food and beverage,and the experience of cultural and folk activities;the mean analysis and principal component analysis were used in the factor analysis.The important factors of attraction are: the humanistic qualities and attitudes of the owners;the attractive factors that have a significant influence on the dependent variable “high cost performance”(sig<0.005)in the regression analysis include: the reception mode of the hotel and the owner's social experience,the beautiful natural scenery of the village,the humanistic feelings of the owner,the unique architecture and interior layout.Summarizing the above analysis results,we conclude that the factors of core attraction include:: natural scenery of the countryside,the cultural literacy of the owner,characteristics of catering,service attitude,and the comfortable inner courtyard of the bed and breakfast.Based on the eight attractiveness and five core attractions,combined with the actual operating conditions and field research of Hainan's rural homestay,the following development strategies and recommendations are proposed:(1)Green plants,recreational facilities,open-air dining areas and courtyard animal areas are planted in the hotel.(2)Making full use of locally-originated ingredients and dishes,employing chefs with better cooking skills;(3)Actively organizing and experiencing production activities and cultural and folk activities;(4)Create hometown for returning home university students and humanistic “new villagers”;(5)Choose a place that is relatively quiet but with convenient transportation;(6)Family members or relatives and friends of the house owner come to do the reception services;(7)Reasonably locate a homestay;(8)Development mode of “Village House +” Gradually promote;(9)Bring in talents to cultivate true homestay owners;(10)Gradually increase the participation of local rural communities.
