Study On The Logistics Efficiency And Influence Factors Of Agricultural Products In Central China

With the vigorous development of economy,the agricultural development in central China has achieved remarkable results.The improvement and progress in agricultural science and technology are brought into more focus;the key point of agricultural development in central China is gradually transferred from production to circulation.As a momentous segment in circulation,the logistics efficiency of agricultural products plays a vital role.However,due to the existence of logistics bottleneck,low logistics efficiency has seriously hindered the circulation of agricultural products in central China.In recent years,the state has promulgated a series of policy documents,which has paid more and more attention to agricultural products logistics.The logistics efficiency of agricultural products has become an essential research subject.On account of the agricultural products logistics theory and efficiency theory,in the very first,this paper uses panel data to compare and analyze the present development situation between the whole country and the central provinces,and find out the problems existing in the agricultural products logistics links,from some aspects like the production and consumption of agricultural products,logistics subjects,infrastructure,macro environment and the input and output;Then by utilizing the SE – DEA model and DEA-Malmquist model,and other measurement models.This paper respectively takes each province in the whole country and the central China as main bodies to do the researches,measuring the logistics efficiency from the static and dynamic perspectives,analyzing the causes of the differences in time and space of agricultural products and the changing trend during 10 years.Finally,taking the measured results of the efficiency as the dependent variables,this paper studies the influence factors of the agricultural product logistics efficiency to the whole country and central Chinese provinces by using the Tobit model of the panel.The results show that the efficiency of agricultural products in the east and west China is decreasing in sequence,which is mainly caused by the differences of pure technical efficiency.The logistics efficiency of agricultural products in central China is in low development level,mainly due to backward technology and outdated management.The agricultural product logistics efficiency of all provinces in central China is in the stage of increasing scale and increasing payment.Agricultural products logistics has not reached the scale economics,so the appropriate input increasing willbring more output.As to the influence factors,agricultural products logistics specialization,economic development level and quiver infrastructure have more influence on the logistics efficiency of agricultural products in central China,the price of agricultural products and information infrastructure affect a little,however the labor quality and the institutional factors have a totally opposite effect on the logistics efficiency of the agricultural products in the whole state.In he end,combining the above empirical study results,to sum up the problems existing in the logistics development of agricultural products in central China,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the construction of infrastructure,the improvement of logistics subjects and the environmental support,and other aspects.
