Since the international financial crisis in 2007,the economy of tourism has developed well,in this way,China has become the fourth entry reception country and the second largest tourism revenue in the world.Xinzhou City takes great importance to the development of cultural tourism,with the help of resources about Buddhist culture,natural famous areas,ancient urban culture,Yellow River culture,Red culture,creating regional tourism products and lines,therefore,cultural tourism has been refined a strategic pillar industry,which promote the development of economic.The tourism resources are rich in Wutai Mountain.Since the successful application for World Heritage in 2009,the number of tourists and tourist income have increased rapidly in Wutai Mountain annual,who plays the leading role of tourism and promotes the development of regional tourism.From investigation,the tourism income of Wutai Mountain is mostly the income of ticket,here,one of the main reasons is the product structure of Buddhist culture tourism is irrational.Through the observation,the author makes the quantitative analysis of the purpose and consumption about Wutai Mountain tourists,who summarizes the development,status,influence,the characteristics culture and tourism of Buddhist.The paper qualitatively analyzes the problems among the spatial structure,type structure and element structure of the Wutai Mountain Buddhist cultural tourism products.Then,the optimization strategy is put forward with the whole product and the theory of product combination.The innovation of this paper is the promotion of the intellectual tourism about Wutai Mountain,the expansion of the length and width of Buddhist tourism products,the strength of the correlation of the combined products,and the build of the extension products of the whole Buddhist cultural tourism products.Because of the lack of relevant data,the life cycle analysis of all the kinds of tourism products in Wutai Mountain is insufficient,which limits the further study and the discussion on the optimization of the type structure of Buddhist cultural tourism products in Wutai Mountain.
