At present,China's economy has shifted from a stage of high-speed growth to high quality development,where high quality development of enterprises is of crucial importance.For dairy enterprises,high quality is the life line.Dairy,as a kind of high-value and nutritious food product,is easy to deteriorate.It tends to cause food safety accidents if the dairy product is under poor quality management,therefore,to greatly influence and restrict the company's development.J Dairy Company,being one of the leading dairy enterprises in Ningxia,has witnessed a rapid development to hold a considerable market share in the region in recent years.However,there are still problems exist in its quality management,which,if rectified timely and properly,can largely accelerate the Company's growth and enhance its core competitiveness.In this thesis,methods of field work,interview,literature research and systematic analysis have been applied.On-site research within the Company has been conducted to get detailed knowledge of manufacturing processes and to interview relevant personnel.Meanwhile,foreign and domestic theories and practices of product quality management of dairy companies have been studied.As a result,it's found out that great deficiencies exist in the Company's management of procurement,storage and processing of raw milk as well as detection of production,utilization of equipment,transportation and circulation of products,etc.The main reason for these problems is that a comprehensive quality management system has yet not been established within the Company.The author analyses the causes for problems in each process of quality and safety control in the Company,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve its product quality management,including completing standardization management system,propelling the extension of quality management system to cover the front end of industry chain and introducing supervision of third party to force the Company to improve its quality management,thus to further perfect the Company's product quality management system,enhance its product quality and promote sustainable and sound development.
