The Selection And Management Of Dairy Logistics Service Providers In The Perspective Of Food Safety

With the rapid growth of dairy consumption in China,the approach to ensure food safety in dairy logistics management has attracted the attention of consumers as well as the enterprises within the industry.In recent years,there are increasing dairy firms prefer to cooperate with third-party logistics companies.With the research on related theories,we have investigated the risks in logistics management of Z company.Firstly,an index system has been built in this article for Z company to select and evaluate the services from the logistics companies based on the perspective of food safety as well as other risks management.And during which,the questionnaires were employed to collect the opinions from experts,and then the weight of each index was calculated by analytic hierarchy process.The results were used as an important reference for the selection and evaluation purpose.Additionally,the fuzzy evaluation analysis method was applied to select the best dairy logistics candidate for Z company.That is to set the scoring module with the established index system,and then obtain the corresponding score of each index from the candidates by fuzzy evaluation matrix.Finally,to guarantee a higher level of food safety,the recommendations,focusing on the analysis of the weak links of the selected dairy logistics provider were raised.In conclusion,this article has provided an effective assessment scheme and technical support for the improvement of the food safety in the supply chain according to the dairy business of Z company.Meanwhile,it may also bring some insight into the selection and management of third-party logistics providers for other companies within this industry.
