The development of information technology has penetrated in every field of today's society with each passing day,information technology has also great influence on the agricultural sector in particular.Agricul-ture is the main support of the national economy,it is necessary to improve the agricultural production effi-ciency of agriculture with the face of severe competition in the international situation,the development of information technology has become a great force to promote the sustainable development of agriculture and it is the only way to realize agricultural modernization.The Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps(hereinafter referred to as the"corps")is the largest agricultural areas in China,land area of about 74300 km~2,the distinctive features of Xinjiang production and construction corps agricultural production is scale,modernization and intensivea,therefore,the party committees at all levels of corps to speed up the agricultural informatization development in a very impor-tant work arrangement,the corps vigorously support the development of the agricultural informatization.Based on the production and construction corps agricultural information,through literature analysis,field survey method,empirical analysis,the development of agricultural informatization in the corps is ana-lyzed systematically,the development of agricultural informationization at home and abroad is analyzed,combined with the development of agricultural information technology in the developed countries as re-ference,with the current situation and existing problems of production and construction corps,the contact theory and practice for the further development of production and construction corps agriculture,strength-en corps agricultural informationization development countermeasures are put forward.The study found that the corps agricultural informatization development mainly exist the following problems:1.Compared with brother provinces and cities,the agricultural informationization developmen tof corps is late,advanced infrastructure and equipment is less,the information technology level is not high in general;2.high-level professional talents focusing on agricultural information technology is lack;3.The incomplete service guarantee system for agricultural informatization has affected the popularization of agricultural informatization;4.The government's overall planning is lagging behind,and the public welfare and commercial capital investment is weak,and the downstream application is not enough.Promote corps agricultural information technology development countermeasures:1.Agricultural Informatization of the corps need to establish a government-led,market guide,development model of profit drive,at the same time do a good job in the top-level design,formulate preferential investment policies,create the agriculture information technology application environment;2.Actively establish and improve the agricultural informatization database,and promote the construction of agricultural informatization in the corps faster and better.In addition to establishing geographic information database,database of agri-cultural production,agricultural economic development etc,but also involving agricultural economic development directly and indirectly industry of multidimensional data,big data,in-depth mining and ana-lysis;3.To further build a comprehensive agricultural informatization service platform of the corps,to improve the labor productivity of employees in the group field through modern agricultural information technology,and to promote the overall improvement of agricultural production level;4.At the same time for round field worker,information services,agricultural technology personnel specialized training and publicity,combination of production and construction corps agricultural informationization development conditions,actively introduce advanced technology,starting with characteristic of production and cons-truction corps agricultural informatization development path.
