Research On The Balance Of Regional Economic Development Based On DMSP/OLS Night Light Data

Persisting in the balanced development of regional economy is the inevitable requirement of promoting regional comprehensive strength.The research on balanced development of regional economy is beneficial to the government's control of regional development.The conventional analysis of economic data has become more and more mature.Most scholars have made their own research views on the balance of regional economic development in different regions.However,most of them lack the innovation of the research angle of the balance problem.In the discussion with the scholars around me,I have come into contact with the urban night light data by chance,and try to discuss the balance of the regional economic development from the perspective of the light data.As the main contribution zone of Hunan province's economy,whether the development of regional economy in the basin is balanced or not has a direct impact on the development of the whole Hunan Province and even the central region of China.However,there are few researches on the balanced development of Hunan Xiangjiang River Basin,so it is of great value to select Xiangjiang River Basin in Hunan Province as the research object.In order to study the relationship between urban night lighting data and economic balance,we must dig out the relationship between lighting data and economic data.This paper selects the model used by Yang Ni and other scholars in using lighting data to study the spatialization of GDP in Guangxi Province,and then Li Feng and other scholars also use similar models to study the spatialization of Beijing GDP.It is proved that GDP data can be well simulated by using city night lighting data.After getting the strong correlation between lighting data and economic data,this paper uses the Gini coefficient,variation coefficient,relative development index and compound average annual growth rate of single index method.The light intensity is selected to study the balanced development of the regional economy in the Xiangjiang River Basin of Hunan Province.The results show that there is a great imbalance in the regional economic development of the Xiangjiang River Basin in Hunan Province,and according to the data,The level of economic development in the northern region of Xiangjiang River,headed by Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan,is far greater than that in the southern part of the Xiangjiang River,and the gap is still increasing.Then the factors affecting the balanced development are analyzed.To put forward their own suggestions for the analysis.
