With the popularity and development of mobile communications,people can also deal with work during after hours,making the working hours gradually permeate into nonworking hours,and thus causing emotional exhaustion.Many employees have to choose resign because they could not endure the constant interruption of nonworking hours.At the high cost of staff turnover and the negative emotions of employees will directly affect their work efficiency,thereby affecting the performance of enterprises.How to establish effective management strategies for employees' working hours related to electronic communication information is extremely important for the sustainable development of enterprises.Based on the theory of work resource recovery and the theory of enterprise life cycle,this paper discusses the acceptance of the time of receipt of information,time required for reading and processing electronic communication during nonworking time,the urgency of electronic communication and the degree of information related to the job effect on turnover intention.In order to reduce emotional exhaustion,the influence of the communication information during nonworking time on the turnover intention and the mediating effect of the emotional exhaustion are explored.Based on data survey of employees with fixed working hours,this study uses SPSS20.0 to carry out descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis,and empirically studies the psychological level(emotional exhaustion)and behavioral level(turnover intention)of employee related to work related electronic communication.The results show that the acceptance of the time interval of receiving the work related electronic communication had a negative effect on employee emotional exhaustion,then affects turnover intention,and emotional exhaustion played a complete intermediary role.The cumulative length of electronic communication in reading and processing work has a positive effect on employee emotional exhaustion,then affects turnover intention,and emotional exhaustion plays an incomplete intermediary role.While the urgency of the work related electronic communication was not related to emotional exhaustion and the correlation between work related electronic communication and the job was not related to emotional exhaustion,either.In addition,when the enterprise is in a recession,the negative relationship between the acceptance of information time interval and the emotional exhaustion will be strengthened,while in the nonrecessionary period,the negative impact of the negative direction between the them will be weaken.Similarly,when the enterprise is in a recession,the positive impact of reading and dealing with work related electronic communication on employee emotional exhaustion is strengthened,while the positive effect is weakened during the nonrecession period.Through the empirical study,this paper believes that the enterprise should pay attention to the emotional exhaustion of employees,and put forward management intervention from the stage of the enterprise and the point of emotional exhaustion.In order to reduce the emotional exhaustion and turnover intention caused by the electronic communication information during nonworking hours by making clear the right and responsibility of the internal staff,creating a good working atmosphere and formulating the training and policy about electronic communication after work.
