With the rapid update of communication technology and wireless network technology,intelligent communication mobile terminals are rapidly popularized and diversified.Employees are working during non-working time due to increasing use of communication technologies.Working through Information and Communication Technologies after Hours(W_ICTs)has become increasingly common.Employees can have difficulty mentally distancing themselves from work during non-work time.It is undoubted that will further increase the likelihood of emotional exhaustion of employees.Ultimately,employees' happiness will be affected.W_ICTs,psychological detachment,emotional exhaustion and other related concepts and measurement methods based on the predecessors' research.This study constructs the mediation path model of” W_ICTs-psychological detachment-emotional exhaustion”.Psychological detachment as a moderator in the relationship between job stressor and psychological detachment.to explore the mediating role of psychological disengagement between W_ICTs and emotional exhaustion in the relationship.This study collected data through questionnaires,292 employees completed survey measures of W_ICTs,psychological detachment and emotional exhaustion.Deal with the data processing and analysis by using SPSS 19.0 and then test the theoretical model.The conclusions are as follows:(1)W_ICTs could significantly predicts emotional exhaustion.(2)Psychological detachment effect the relationship between W_ICTs and emotional exhaustion as a partial mediator.Specifically,high the working frequency of communication tools was related to poor psychological detachment.poor psychological detachment in turn predicted levels of emotional exhaustion.Employees cannot be recovered and relaxed at work time,and emotional exhaustion will happen.The management enlightenment of this article:(1)Mangers should consider the actual ability of the staff in the work process design and performance management,and let the employees complete the relevant work processes and tasks in the company on time.The managers do not take the initiative to find employee exchanges and work related issues to provide training for time management,provide flexible job selection or choose compulsory vacation.Taking into account the path of mediating effect of psychological detachment,managers can try to reduce the level of emotional exhaustion with psychological detachment,and then enhance their well-being.(2)Employees should learn to detach from work,try some leisure activities away from communication tools,such as aerobic exercise.They can contact more friends and colleagues outside their colleagues,not disturbed by the work related things,and take full advantage of the time of rest to recover and relax.Considering the universality of the use of communication tools,the possibility of prohibiting the use of communication tools at home is low,and employees may consider setting certain use boundaries(such as limiting the use of time or emergency),returning home,communicating with the family,and minimizing the negative effects of the use of working communication tools.At the same time,set some fixed habits so that the roles of commuting can be quickly transformed.
