| The pharmaceutical industry is playing an increasing important role in the national economy,it has a broad space for development and it is praised as the “sunrise industry”.Faced with the pressure of the environmental protection,the ever-increasing business costs,the severe market environment and the higher requirements on product quality,the opportunities and challenge of development coexist in the pharmaceutical enterprises.It is urgent to develop a feasible competitive strategy to survive in the fierce and changeable market competition environment.This thesis takes Z Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.(hereafter Z Pharmaceutical Company)as the research object.And study on the competition strategy of Z pharmaceutical company by using strategic management theory and tools(such as PEST analysis,Potter five-force model,EFE Matrix,IFE Matrix,QSPM analysis).By analyzing the overall environment of Z Pharmaceutical Company,the pharmaceutical industry environment and the competitors,this paper worked out the opportunities and threats of the external environment;Through examining the production capacity,research and development capacity,human resources,financial resources and organizational culture of the company,the author summed up the advantages and disadvantages of the internal environment.And through the exploration of the corporate business with QSPM analysis,this study finally put forward a reasonable competition strategy,Z Pharmaceutical Company shall adopt the centralized development strategy as the overall strategy and implement vertical integration strategy.Hoping to provide implications for the growing pharmaceutical companies in China. |
