Nearly 40 years of reform and opening,people's quality of life has been obviously improved.But in terms of economic development,the speed of urban development is far higher than that rural areas,this widened the urban-rural income gap and more ethnic minorities,which will inevitably affect the process of building a moderately prosperous society and achieving balanced development in our country.Therefore,this paper,taking the minority areas as the research object,combines with the special factors of the ethnic regions,and correctly grasps the situation of urban-rural income gap in the process of economic development in ethnic minority areas,and analyses the transmission mechanism of economic growth,and optimizes the distribution of income in the minority areas of our country,and realizes the sustainable development of the region's economy.It has important practical significance.In this paper,the income gap between urban and rural areas in ethnic minority areas is measured and analyzed.On the basis of the analysis,the influence of economic growth on the income gap between urban and rural areas is discussed,and the income gap between urban and rural areas is mainly affected through urbanization,education and dual economic structure.The influence of income gap between urban and rural areas is analyzed,and a model is established for empirical analysis.The conclusion displays that,since the reform and opening up,the income gap of the ethnic minority areas emerges generally the same trend,that is,from a short fall to a rise in volatility,a downward trend eventually appears.In five minority areas,the urban-rural income gap in Inner Mongolia is always at the lowest level,while The fluctuation of the urban-rural income gap in Tibet is the largest.The urban-rural income gap of five minority areas accords with the U curve of Kuznets curve,and the turning point has appeared.The increase of urbanization rate and the strengthening of dual economic structure have expanded the urban-rural income gap,and the improvement of education level can effectively reduce the urban-rural income gap.According to the conclusions of this study,the suggestions are put forward.Firstly,steadily promote the urbanization process in ethnic minority areas,and pay attention to the employment in the process of urbanization in the minority areas;Secondly,promote the transformation of the dual economic structure to the monistic economic structure;Finally,increase the investment in the rural education.
