At present,China's outstanding water and ancient towns are concentrated in the south,such as Zhouzhuang,Tongli,Wuzhen,Xitang,Lijiang and so on.Though there are some research on these spot,the research on market targeting of these scienry is still scare,so that the research on market targeting is necessary.Gubei Watertown is a new tourist scenic spot which is characterized by the ancient water town culture.The scenic spot is located in the area of Gubei Kou town,Miyun county,Beijing.It is located at the junction of northeast Beijing and Hebei province and is located at the foot of the famous Simatai Great Wall.It is formed on the basis of the three natural ancient villages in Simatai,which has the natural environment,precious historical relics and unique cultural resources.The scenic area is border with Hebei province.Currently,there are three main transportation routes,namely Jing-Cheng expressway,Jing-Tong railway and 101 national highway.It has a very convenient traffic.The Gubei Water Town is divided into four tourist areas with different themes and functions,which are the Blocks of the Republic of China,the Water Streets Region,the Wolongbao Folk Culture Region,and the Old Village at Tang River Region.At present,the staying time of tourists in the four tourist areas is distributed unevenly with great differences.This paper conducts a market research specifically targeted at this problem.The structure and content of this study are as follows:Introduction: This chapter presents the background and significance of this research,the research status of domestic and overseas,the ideas and methods of research and the innovation and insufficiency.Chapter two: This chapter summarizes the development and operation status of Gubeis water town.Chapter three: This chapter carries out the targeted investigation and analysis of the market of Gubeis water town to obtain the overall satisfaction and main problems of the tourists.Chapter four: This paper puts forward the countermeasures for the market of ancient Gubeis water town.Conclusion: This paper conducts a comprehensive survey on the market of Gubeis water town and analyzes the problems and shortcomings of its market pertinence.The conclusions are divided in two sides: one is the market of tourism product development is not clear enough and the product system is connected with problems.The other one is there are some misunderstandings in the marketing of scenic spots.That is,it is a sense of cultural scenic spot understanding from the literal sense of "Gubei water town",in fact,it is mainly based on leisure vacation and exhibition and other tourism services.
