The development of industrial parks has brought great economic benefits to China,but it has also caused serious environmental pollution and waste of resources.Based on the concept of industrial symbiosis,various countries around the world are actively building eco-industrial parks.China also initiated the National Eco-industrial Demonstration Park project in 2001.However,industrial symbiosis networks exhibit strong vulnerability under a series of external disturbances.For example,unexpected business crashes caused by equipment failures or operational errors,closure of high-polluting companies,and fluctuations in waste quality will significantly affect the industrial symbiosis network.These problems have severely limited the development of eco-industrial parks in China.On the other hand,in the industrial symbiosis networks,a large number of companies communicate with each other closely,and the material,energy,and information networks formed in the park have become extremely large.Many risks are hidden in this huge network.However,the eco-industrial park management committee lacks decision-making tools to help them find the key management objects and potential risks.Therefore,assessing the vulnerability of industrial symbiosis networks and providing decision management tools are of great significance to improving the stability of eco-industrial parks and strengthening risk management.The thesis studies the vulnerability of industrial symbiosis networks by assessing the degree of influence among enterprises in eco-industrial parks,the establishment of an industrial symbiosis topology network in eco-industrial parks,and the decline in network efficiency under different failure modes.The research steps of proposed model are as follows: First,the input-output data of the enterprise is used to measure the size of the mutual influence of the connected enterprises,which lays the foundation for constructing a weighted topology network;subsequently,the topology map of the industrial symbiosis network is constructed through the enterprise's adjacency matrix and UCINET software;Using MATLAB to simulate the decline degree of the network efficiency of the industrial symbiosis network topology structure under different failure modes of node failure and edge failure,find out the key enterprises and key edges in the industrial symbiosis network.The proposed model has been verified by the case of Chongqing Qijiang Industrial Park,and corresponding recommendations have been made for reducing the vulnerability of the symbiotic network in China's eco-industrial park.This research shows that the status of different nodes(edges)in industrial symbiosis networks varies greatly.The management committees should focus on “key companies” and strengthen supervision of them,which will help reduce the vulnerability of industrial symbiosis networks.In general,the upstream nodes(edges)have greater influence.Therefore,the park management committee should expand the eco-industry chain,timely introduce supplementary companies and establish long-term partners to avoid oversimplification of the industry chain.In addition,the paper argues that it is necessary to construct a weighted industrial symbiosis network using input and output.In order to make simulation results more practical,it is necessary to obtain input and output data for each enterprise to evaluate the impact between enterprises.The model proposed in this paper fully considers the complexity of the symbiotic network in the eco-industrial park and the interrelationships among the enterprises,realizing the quantitative calculation of the symbiotic network vulnerability of the eco-industrial park,and can effectively identify the key nodes of the symbiotic network and the energy exchange of key materials.It has relatively universal applicability and can provide reference for the construction of the symbiosis network of eco-industrial parks,the maintenance of the normal and stable operation of eco-industrial parks,and the decision-making and management of risks by park management committees.
