Research On Optimization Of Urban Logistics Network Of LTL Logistics Enterprises

Urban distribution network plays an important role for LTL logistics enterprises,a rational and complete urban distribution network will help reduce the total cost of urban logistics and improve distribution efficiency,and it will also help improve customer experience.This article is based on the research on optimization of urban logistics network of LTL logistics enterprises.The specific research content has the following four points: First,the relevant literature on optimization of city logistics network at home and abroad was reviewed,These documents are divided into three categories,including logistics network optimization considering location,logistics network optimization considering routing,and logistics network optimization considering both location and routing.In addition,the related research of crowdsourcing logistics was also introduced.Second,summarizing the relevant concepts and theoretical basis on optimization of urban logistics network of LTL logistics enterprises,including the urban logistics models and the theory of location of the business department.Third,this paper constructed an integer programming model based on the objective function of minimizing the total cost of operating costs,vehicle transportation costs,and distribution costs,using heuristic rules to assign customers to business department,genetic algorithm to optimize selection scheme,which was applied to the actual case for measurement and evaluation to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.Fourth,taking the location of the business department of Chongqing TNT Huayu Logistics Co.,Ltd.as an example,we used the relevant models and algorithms to obtain the optimal location selection plan,and discussed and analyzed the results,and reached the following four conclusions: One is to verify that the allocation scheme results according to the shipments/distance maximum rules,compared to the distance minimize rules and shipments maximum distance minimize rules,is better and more convergent;The second is that the ratio of the cost of receiving goods to the total cost of urban logistics is 60%.This shows that the optimization of the city's “last mile” is the key to the optimization of the entire logistics network;Thirdly,the selection of vehicles with the same capacity as the business department will help improve the vehicle full load rate,reduce the number of vehicle transportation,and thus reduce the total cost of urban logistics;Fourth,when companies outsource a relatively small number of customer orders to crowdsourced logistics platforms,the total logistics cost can be reduced by about 2.0%.Finally,this article combines the research conclusions and the current thinking on the status quo of urban logistics operation in LTL logistics enterprises,and draws relevant management inspiration.
