A Study On The Competitiveness And Interconnectedness Of Major Urban Agglomerations In China

With the development of economic globalization and regional integration,the competition between cities,regions and countries is becoming increasingly fierce.The development and competition of urban agglomeration have also become the main body of national construction and become the main form of urbanization in China.However,in the development process of urban agglomeration,the development gap of urban agglomeration is different,with different advantages in economy,environment,society and culture.How to improve the comprehensive competitiveness of urban agglomeration is an important problem for urban agglomeration.Yangtze river delta,the pearl river delta,beijing-tianjin-hebei,and after a long-term development,has accumulated rich experience in urban agglomeration development,zhongyuan urban agglomeration rising strategic status,become a important focus of promoting "rise of central plains",its economic dimension has become the fourth growth pole.The Yangtze river delta,the pearl river delta,the beijing-tianjin-hebei region and the central plain city cluster are all state-level urban agglomerations,which represent the development level of the general urban agglomeration in China to a certain extent.Therefore,research on the four urban agglomeration competitiveness level helps to enhance the overall understanding of the urban agglomeration development,clear each urban agglomeration development board,and through the corresponding Suggestions on improving urban competitiveness,make up the urban agglomeration development board,promote healthy coordinated sustainable development of urban agglomerations,helps countries rapid urbanization process,realize national overall competitiveness.This study firstly sort out urban agglomerations,competitiveness and relevant concepts and characteristics of urban agglomeration is form an organic whole,interactions between the city competitiveness is area attract,control,competition,the embodiment of the transformation of resources.On the basis of related concepts,this paper introduces the domestic and foreign scholars and many cities and the related theories of urban agglomeration competitiveness are discussed such as growth pole theory,point-axis theory,and summarizes the related theory models such as bowstring model and porter diamond model,draw lessons from the literature and model on the basis of above,according to the relevant principles of constructing the index system of urban competitiveness.Then analyzed the current situation of the urban agglomeration,using the factor analysis and mutation progression method and so on the many kinds of analysis method of the whole and each dimension of evaluation,corresponding Suggestions of urban agglomeration competitiveness.On index system building,and many articles in this research,through relevant statistical index number and frequency,combining with the availability of data,can get a index of the unity of urban agglomeration inner cities,a total of 40 early screening index,then through linear regression analysis to eliminate the five obvious related indicators,finally the remaining 35.According to the connotation of urban competitiveness,and finally form index,the urban agglomeration competitiveness dimensions,is divided into four dimensions,respectively for the competitive economic foundation,social life life competitiveness,infrastructure,ecological environment competitiveness.In the current situation of urban agglomeration,it is found that the Yangtze river delta has strong economic strength and high development ability.Multi-core network pattern;The population density is large,the agglomeration level needs to be improved.The economic development level of the pearl river delta city cluster is high,the regional economic development gap is small,the population growth is slow,and the public service facilities need to be improved.The ecological environment is generally better and the protection situation is grim.Beijing-tianjin-hebei urban population scale is big,and rapid growth,overall rising urbanization level,the development gap is big,infrastructure,education and medical resource distribution,internal industry is not close,the ecological environment quality.China's urban agglomeration has a long history,low level of resources and urbanization,and a gradual improvement of the ecological environment.However,pollution control is still severe.In the analysis of the competitiveness of urban agglomeration,factor analysis and mutation series method are adopted in each dimension and the whole.It is found that,on the basis of economic ability,the gap between the economic foundation of the four major urban agglomerations is obvious and the situation is weak.From the perspective of urban agglomeration,the economic foundation competitiveness of the Yangtze river delta urban agglomeration is generally strong,and the central plain urban agglomeration is generally weak.On the dimension of social life,the overall social life competitiveness shows two strong and weak trends.From the perspective of urban agglomeration,the social living standards of the four major urban agglomerations are low,and many indicators of the central plains city cluster are low level agglomeration.In the field of infrastructure,the four urban agglomeration competitiveness of infrastructure,distribution is relatively uniform,presents two two weak state,Yangtze river delta urban agglomerations overall strength is prominent,urban agglomerations overall infrastructure capacity needs to be strengthened.In the competitiveness of ecological environment,the ecological environment competitiveness of the whole urban agglomeration presents two weak trends,and the overall ranking changes greatly.From the inner city of urban agglomeration,the poor ecological environment is a common phenomenon.On the overall competitiveness dimension,the ranking position is the Pearl
