A Research On The Effect Of Intellectual Property Protection On China's High-tech Product Export

Nowadays not only in commodity trade,but also in technology and service trade,intellectual property has become the focal point in international trade.With the modification of China's intellectual property laws and regulations and the issue of the National Program for Intellectual Property and its implementation plan,China has paid much more attention to intellectual property and its protection.As to high-tech product export,on one hand,the intellectual property protection in China can promote the high-tech technology's innovation,increase the competitiveness of high-tech product export and respond well to the other countries' intellectual property barrier.On the other hand,increasing the intellectual property protection means higher cost,so as to decreasing the export.As to the other countries' intellectual property protection,it can stimulate the high-tech technology's innovation to facilitate export to some extent,but the export will be restricted to a large degree.This thesis analyzes the current situation of China's high-tech product export from the total export,categories of exporting products,mode of export,export market and categories of high-tech exporting enterprises.In addition,the current situation of China's intellectual property protection in high-tech industries has also been researched from different aspects,including the overall level of intellectual property protection,expenditure on technology,patents application,R&D internal fund and personnel.It is found that China has exported its high-tech products mostly to America,Europe and Japan,therefore,the thesis analyzes the effect of their intellectual property protection on China's high-tech product export.As to the effect of China's intellectual property protection on its high-tech product export,the thesis chooses the data of 31 provinces or cities from 2012 to 2014 to study the relation between high-tech product export and intellectual property protection through empirical research.It finds a positive correlation between China's high-tech product export and its intellectual property production.At last,the proper intellectual property protection strategies of promoting China's high-tech product export have been put forward,includingimplementing an enterprise strategy for protecting intellectual property rights,establishing an early warning system for the protection of intellectual property rights,increasing independent intellectual property rights,assisting the intellectual property department construction and so on.
