Research On The Relationship Between Intellectual Property Protection And Export Competitiveness Of High-tech Products In China

As the process of economic globalization is speeding up,the international trade pattern is also changing.High-tech products,represented by technical and knowledge-intensive commodity,have an increasingly prominent competitive advantage and occupy a dominant position in the world trade structure.In order to seize the commanding heights in the new round of global competition,every country is developing their own high-tech industries vigorously.China has also been actively developing our own high-tech industries.Chinese high-tech exports maintained a rapid growth for more than ten years.However,China still faces a embarrassing situation that the structure of the trade is unitary,and the export market concentrate in a few countries,and the proportion of processing trade is relatively high.In one word,the competitiveness of our high-tech products is not optimistic.On the other hand,the development of high-tech industry based on strong innovation ability and creation ability.Therefore,many developed countries began to carry out intellectual property strategy.Well,there is uncertainty for developing countries to enhance the export competitiveness of high-tech products by strengthening the protection of intellectual property rights.Because,the protection of intellectual property rights will produce both incentive effect and inhibition effect.Under this background,this paper treat it as the research problem to explore the relationship between the export competitiveness of the level of intellectual property protection and high technology products in China,takes the effect of technology innovation and technology diffusion as the research method,takes empirical analysis as the research method.It is hoped that it can provide theoretical reference for the government to formulate appropriate intellectual property protection policies.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background and significance of research ideas and content.Secondly,this paper review the relevant theory and literature.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the present situation of the protection of intellectual property rights and the present situation of the export of high-tech products.At last,this paper draw a conclution through theoretical analysis and empirical analysis that there is a significant positive correlation between the protection of knowledge production and the export competitiveness of China's high-tech products,it differs from the areas and descends from the east to the middle and the west.It is useful to significantly improve the export competitiveness of high-tech products by improving R&D and labor education.The development of processing trade and the promotion of foreign investment have no significant effect on promoting the export competitiveness of high-tech products.At last,this paper puts forward some policy suggestions according to the conclusion of the research.
