The Development Strategy Of Shuangliu Airport Economic Zone Under Dual Airport Model

With the rapid development of economy and transportation,especially civil aviation and general aviation,globalization and digitalization are constantly pursuing faster and more efficient.The airport has gradually become the growth pole of regional economic development.With the expansion of the airport,many aviation industries gather around the airport,forming a temporary economic zone and leading to the rapid development of the regional economy.With the rapid development of the regional economy,the original airport has been unable to continue to increase its routes and expand its scale,or because of geographical location and other reasons,the construction of the new airport has become inevitable.This paper is aimed at the above situation.When the Chengdu Tianfu International Airport is about to be completed,we analyzed the strategy of the airport economic zone of Shuangliu International Airport,the development of the Shuangliu Airport Economic Zone,the strengths and weaknesses of the existing strategies under the impact of the new airport.Also,we compared the strategy and development status of the two airports and the two economic zones.Finally,it constructs a matrix of the dual-current airport economic zone under the existing opportunities and challenges.Optimize development strategies and provide implementation of the strategy.Firstly,the article expounds the background,the content,the significance,and the research methods,then analyzes the current situation of the research on the airport economy.This paper introduces the theory,connotation,development and spatial division mode of the airport economic zone through theoretical research,as well as the relationship between the airport and the airport economic zone.From the three stages of traditional strategy theory,competition strategy theory and new development strategic theory has been studied,focusing on the strategic research of competitive advantage,differential development and resource-based theory,and selecting the applicable strategic research method for Shuangliu International Airport Economy Zone development.Secondly,typical cases of multi-airports at home and abroad are studied.From the functional positioning,geographical location,and industrial model,the paper analyzes and summarizes the relevant experience of the development of multi-airport airport economic zone.Then it analyzes the external environment of the Shuangliu Airport Economic Zone,including the policy environment,economic environment,social environment and business environment,as well as the internal environment,including the development status of Shuangliu International Airport,geographical location,transportation system,industrial structure,industrial layout,port function,free trade zone,educational resources and technology research.Compare with the Tianfu International Airport and its airport economic zone,find out the impact of the construction of Tianfu International Airport on the Shuangliu Airport Economic Zone.At last,we will find out the existing development strategies and existing problems in the Shuangliu Airport Economic Zone.Through the evaluation of external and internal factors,this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of the Shuangliu Airport Economic Zone.We will find out the advantages and disadvantages,the opportunities and challenges,construct the SWOT matrix,and give the strategic optimization based on the Tianfu International Airport.It is recommended that,Shuangliu International Airport Economic Zone should form strategic alliances with the Tianfu International Airport and the new airport economic zone,take the dislocation and coordinated development,,through policy support,human support and technical support,optimize the environment of doing business,attract business investment and occupancy,airport economic zone industrial optimization and adjustment layout,safeguard the Shuangliu airport economic zone of the core competitiveness,ultimately form the Shuangliu airport,airport industry and the integration development of the airport,drive the Shuangliu district economic development.Finally,the new strategy of Shuangliu Airport Economic Zone needs to optimize industrial structure,adjust industrial layout,cultivate regional human capital,develop transportation and strengthen government support to ensure the smooth implementation of the strategy.
