Study On The Export Competitiveness Of Textile And Clothing Of Hebei Province Under The New Strategic Opportunities

Hebei province is a major province of textile and clothing production and export in China.Textile and clothing manufacturing is one of the pillar industries in Hebei province.Textile and clothing exports play an important role in Hebei's export trade.With the improvement of Hebei's opening to the outside world,the scale of textile and clothing export is expanding.However,there are still many problems in its export trade,especially the export competitiveness.The two strategies about Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei collaborative development and "The Belt and Road ",bring new opportunities for the export competitiveness promotion of Hebei textile and clothing.Therefore,how to grasp the opportunities brought by the new strategies and how to solve the problems in the export trade of textile and clothing is of great practical significance for improving the export competitiveness of textile and clothing industry in Hebei.Based on the two strategies of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei collaborative development and "The Belt and Road ",this paper first systematically combs and analyzes the export scale,the mode of trade,the export market distribution and the distribution and nature of the export enterprise of the textile and clothing in Hebei province.We found that the export scale of textile and clothing of Hebei province is relatively small,the mode of trade is single,the export market is concentrated,the export enterprise distribution is uneven and the overall strength is a little weak.Then choose the international market share,trade competitiveness index,revealed comparative advantage index,Export contribution rate and export growth advantage index to measure the export competitiveness of textile and clothing of Hebei.The results show that it is still remain to be improved.Thirdly,I studied the influencing factors of the export competitiveness of textile and clothing of Hebei,with the help of the six elements about the diamond model and combined with the specific situation of the textile and clothing industry in Hebei Province,we choose six variables for testing,The results show that the industry R&D,per capita consumption expenditure of Hebei Province,textile and clothing industry output and the exchange rate are the influence factor of the textile and clothingexport competitiveness of Hebei province;Finally,on the basis of the above research,I proposed some countermeasures and suggestions about how to seize the new strategy opportunities to promote the export competitiveness of textile and clothing of Hebei province:Undertake the industrial advantages of Beijing and Tianjin to promote the industry upgrading of textile and clothing.Rely on the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaborative Development,optimizing the export enterprise structure;take the opportunity of "The Belt and Road" to promote the diversification of the export market and encourage the textile and clothing enterprises to "go out";Optimize the mode of trade;Mine traditional skills of Hebei textile and clothing,export goods with characteristics.
