Urbanization is an inevitable trend of social development. With the continuous expansion of the city scale, the land requisition and demolition activities caused by it have also become increasingly frequent.Land acquisition and demolition has helped boost the development of the city and has also led to the emergence of many social problems. The conflicts and disputes between multi-stakeholders in the process of land requisition and demolition are one of the most important issues, which poses a great obstacle to the stability of the social order and the development of urbanization. In this study, the typical city of rapid urbanization, the demolition and relocation of community B in SZ City,is used as a case. The “process-event” analysis method is used to describe the interactions among the three main actors: local government, developers, and demolished people.,and the demolition contradictions and processes that continue to change with the selection of the action of the subject.Based on this,a theoretical explanation of the case of land acquisition and house demolition in the B-zone was conducted from the perspective of “structure-action”.The study found that in the urban demolition, the main action is not only the product under the control of its institutional structure, but also through its initiative to the society. The structure exerts influence and reshapes it,which in turn constitutes a new constraint on the action of the subject. The process of urban demolition is,to a certain extent, the process of repeated production and reproduction of the main action and social structure.Based on this, the study reveals the intrinsic mechanism of the contradiction between the subjects and the dynamic logic of development and change in the process of urban demolition through the demolition of B-districts,and aims at deepening our influencing factors on urban relocation conflicts.Understand and provide a solution to the problem of demolition and relocation. This article mainly starts from five aspects and starts research:First,it explains the social background and research significance of the problem of urban demolition and relocation, and reviews and combs relevant studies on urban demolition. On this basis, this paper puts forward the problems that this article pays attention to,explains the overall research ideas, defines the core concepts of the article, and introduces the research methods.Second,a phased description of the contradictory cases of demolition and relocation in B-cells.This includes the introduction of the basic conditions of B-cells and the systematic description of the entire process of the conflict, which is the origin of conflict events—early conflict—intensified conflict—based on process investigation. At the same time,it tries to provide a detailed presentation of the actions of the participating parties and the motivations behind them.Third, from the overall land requisition conflict incidents, the interactions between different subjects are separated, the main actions and inter-subject relations are rationalized, and we promote our deep understanding of conflict events, laying the foundation for subsequent theoretical analysis.Fourth, based on the description and analysis of the B-cell demolition conflict event,a structural-action analysis framework was used to conduct theoretical research.Reveal the two-way relationship between the macro-institutional structure and the main strategic actions in the demolition contradictions.Fifth, based on the theoretical analysis of urban demolition cases,we will further consider how to optimize the main actions and institutional structure, with a view to resolve urban demolition contradictions and construct a harmonious demolition field from both micro-subject and macro-structure.
