Research On The Defects Of China Postal Transportation Network And Its Coping Strategies

As the global economic situation improves,people are increasingly demanding the mailing business.However,traditional postal companies failed to adapt quickly to market demands.The market share of the express delivery industry was seized by newly established express delivery companies.Although operating income is increasing year by year,the loss of customers is serious and the market share continues to decline.In order to improve the current situation,postal enterprises have reached the necessary period to increase production efficiency,improve corporate image,and reduce operating costs.The core production process of China Post is the network transportation link.The problems of slow postal courier feedback and inaccurate information feedback from the perspective of customers are reflected in actual production and can be decomposed into several aspects in terms of network operations.Firstly,there may be some inappropriate waste of resources in the internal transportation system.Secondly,is the allocation of transportation resources.The Post Group has the nation's largest transportation and operating network.The system is divided into postal express parcels and express parcels,which are delivered by two agencies which are two independent systems.However,the two agencies did not fully demonstrate the advantages of differentiated products.In addition,during the informationization process,the express delivery information cannot be checked and monitored in real-time completely.So,there is a large gap in customer experience compared to other companies.From the customer feedbacks and combined with the working experiences in the network management department,the thesis analyzes the status of network transportation and the prominent issues in the network transportation links by the application of data comparison analysis method.Through the collection and analysis of data,the problems of delivery time,abnormal mail processing,and PDA equipment management were analyzed.The strategies and plans to solve the problems are proposed to after generalization and summarization.The plan involves the integration of the resources of the postal and express agencies,the construction of supplementary information systems,and the improvement of business production processes.The three aspects of the coping strategies support each other,which is instructive for the improvement of the quality of the company.This will offer practical reference value to the corporate management work.
