Research On The Collective Land Shantytowns Reconstruction Project In Suburban Districts And Counties Of Large Cities

At present,the global economy is recovering at a steady rate and the process of urbanization in developing countries is speeding up.However,the“urban disease” accompanied with the development has become a prominent problem that all developing countries must face.In addition,the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way is approaching with the rapid development of China's socialist market economy so that the development of urbanization in China is changing with each passing day.The shantytown,as a typical problem of “urban diseases” in the process of urbanization,has been paid close attention by the Party,the government and the people.After the founding of the People's Republic of China,the “reconstruction of old city” mainly covers the "shantytown reconstruction" in the present sense to a large extent.At the same time,in the “rural revitalization strategy” put forward for the first time in the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the shantytown reconstruction is also an important means to realize the rural revitalization.The shantytown reconstruction of Shilipu Town in Miyun District is the first shantytown reconstruction project carried out on collective land in the suburbs of Beijing.The village covered by the shantytown reconstruction is a reservoir immigrant village formed in the 1950 s because of the construction of the Miyun Reservoir.Over the past 60 years,the pace of urbanization form in the region has been slow.What?s more,the hidden dangers of housing security and the problems left over from history have not been effectively resolved.At the same time,the shantytown reconstruction faces a lot of obstacles because of a series of problems such as policy,planning,and the conditions of the region itself.Taking the reconstruction project of Shilipu town in Miyun district as an example,this paper expounds the background and general situation of the reconstruction of Shilipu town,the present situation,the existing obstacles,the countermeasures adopted,as well as the experience gained of the the shantytown reconstruction on the basis of field research.In addition,some pertinent suggestions for promoting the reconstruction of the project are put forward in this paper.Further more,this paper studies the shantytown reconstruction on collective land in suburban districts and counties of big cities,and systematically summarizes and analyzes the shantytown reconstruction in Shilipu Town for the first time.The countermeasures taken in the reconstruction process and the experience gained can provide certain reference and ideas for the reconstruction of other shantytowns.
