Nowadays, major economies around the world have launched their own development strategies after realizing the importance of promoting technological innovation, breeding new industries and launching a new round of technological innovation. These countries' demand for fossil fuels is also decreasing, and the proportion of renewable energy use is increasing. They will enter the "green economic model" first. And the demand for fossil fuels in developing countries will not decrease in the short term due to the demand for economic development. Therefore, the global carbon emission situation is even more serious. In addition,on the one hand, countries like Europe and the United States have increased their incentive to protect their domestic markets.Trade protection measures in the new situation of low carbon economy, such as carbon tariff, may be used more frequently in the future. On the other hand, developed economies are putting pressure on developing countries, including China, and demanding more responsibilities and obligations in terms of the global environment. In terms of domestic environment and economic situation, the situation is not optimistic: on the one hand,it is reflected in the strengthening of ecological environment constraints. Some parts of China have reached the limit of environmental endurance, ecological degradation and severe environmental pollution have restricted the development of China's economy. On the other hand, the labor cost increases and the demographic dividend gradually disappears. The transformation of traditional processing trade enterprises or industries in China also faces many challenges and opportunities.Judging from the current situation of export trade, the dependence of China's export trade is maintained at a stable level. And the structure of export commodities is gradually optimized, among which the proportion of capital-intensive products is increasing year by year.China's export trade is relatively concentrated, and the export products lack competitive advantages. The largest proportion of export trade is still processing and general trade, which has increased the total carbon emission in China.China's export trade is in urgent need of optimization and transformation. On the other hand,in the short term, increased exports will also lead to increased carbon emissions. The export trade generated by different export sectors is also inconsistent with the implied carbon, for example, the export trade volume of chemical industry, textile industry and other export sectors is large, and the implied carbon emission is also large. When reducing carbon emissions, different industrial policies should be formulated according to different conditions of the industry,so as to guide the industry and enterprises to achieve industrial upgrading and transformation.China's exports are under unprecedented pressure as the world advocates a low-carbon and green economy.A clear understanding of the implied carbon emissions of China's export trade and the carbon emissions of various export sectors can not only help China control carbon emissions from the perspective of export trade, but also more actively respond to the new trade barriers and carbon tariffs China faces.
