New technology,policy,concept and environment are overturning the old mindsets,pharmaceutical industry is stepping into a new era,steadily.We are facing changes everyday.It requires higher and higher standard of quality for all products,which humans' health becomes the most important thing.People are focusing much on the reliability of the medicine and its effectiveness.To develop the business branch in China is one of the main focuses for all industries.Recent years,China has invested a lot in the pharmaceutical industry.However,it is not easy to organize the facilities,to make sure the whole chain reliable in products R&D,raw material procurement,supplier quality management,process control,storage and transportation,to comply with the National Food and Drug provisions,and meet the expectation of customer's requirements,as well as making profit for the entrepreneurs.With development of the economy,people has higher and higher requirement in health care,and it spends many times more than decades ago.However,with the medicine market promotion,and better supervision system development,more and more issues come up like fake vaccine event.We are wondering why there are more issues with rapid development of economy.What is the relationship between cost and profit? Are there any management methodologies,to create value to the consumers,while make the proper profit for the companies?This thesis is trying to find out material management methods with lean concepts.In terms on figure out the value-added processes by overviewing the whole supply chain,consequences of profits within the material flow,and possible material strategies in different commercial scenarios.It is worthy to study the consequence between the material management methods and cost reduction in entrepreneurs,to identify the risk in material supply and take actions to in advance,and maximize the profit.There are 5 sections in this essay: first to introduce the background of this topic,with its goal,scope,method and framework.Secondly,summarize relative concept and theory of material management,in order to provide the theoretical foundation.Third part is to analyze the current status of S company of its material management,try to find out the improving points to achieve company vision.Fourth part is trying to propose the solutions,in order to form the standard and even company culture in the challenging environment.Fifth part will be a part of validation for the improving actions by analyzing the key performance indicators,and trying to find out next steps to go,to make the continuous improvement.
