Development Of Jujube Production In Shaanxi Province:Analysis And Strategies

This paper reviews the development history of red dates in Shaanxi Province,and systematically summarizes and analyzes the planting area,yield,distribution,cultivar,cultivation mode and production efficiency of Shaanxi jujube on the basis of social survey.Point out some major problems in the development of red dates in Shaanxi:(1)The cultivar is single,and the variety improvement process is slow;(2)Poor ability to withstand natural disasters;(3)The overall production level is low,and the supporting technology is not in place;(4)Industrial service system is not perfect;(5)Low degree of organization,backward marketing methods,and difficult sales of goods.Shaanxi has developed a long history with rich land resources,great development potential,great potential for increased production,and favorable conditions for sales.On the basis of investigation and analysis,it points out the countermeasures for the development of Shaanxi jujube industry:(1)Government departments should pay attention to the development of the jujube industry.According to the current natural conditions,the distribution of red dates,planting basis and demand,it is necessary to formulate long-term development plans,rationally arrange and actively guide fruit farmers to vigorously develop jujube production;(2)Promoting pollution-free green industrialization will become an inevitable trend in the development of red jujube industry in Shaanxi Province,which will achieve a better record for the jujube industry in Shaanxi Province in the domestic and international sales markets;(3)Relying on science and technology to actively cultivate new varieties,the government should pay more attention to personnel training,so as to effectively utilize the latest jujube scientific and technological achievements and mature advanced technologies at home and abroad,and to improve the structure of red jujube varieties in Shaanxi Province,we must continue to strengthen the cultivation of new varieties.Select,combine local climatic environment and production conditions of growing areas,and develop new varieties of red jujube suitable for planting in Shaanxi Province;(4)Increase water use to increase production and income.Rapidly promote the construction speed of water storage and conservation,effectively combine rational fertilization and orchard management,and then vigorously promote the irrigation technology,which greatly improves the utilization of water resources and can increase the yield and income of red dates in Shaanxi Province more quickly;(5)To establish industrialized management,the relevant departments of the Shaanxi Provincial Government need to establish long-term and stable industrialization policy guidance,and at the same time formulate a series of effective management measures,so as to promote the development of the red jujube industry in Shaanxi Province to industrialization.
