Green trade barrier which has been developing rapidly since the 1970 s,instead of other trade barriers such as tariffs, becomes an important international trade barrier. With characteristics such as validity, concealment and great flexibility in the implementation,it gives the nations who implement it much more autonomy and discretion, constantly used by many countries, especially developed countries to limit their import of agricultural products.Since entering the post-crisis era,the green trade barrier keeps changing as time goes on.The range of it is getting wider. Its demonstration effect and constraint effect keep increasing.New green trade barriers like that relating to the laborers' rights and rights certification standards emerge endlessly. The green trade barrier has become a big bottleneck of China's agricultural exports in recent years. The export industry of agricultural products is an important part of our national economy.Limits of agricultural exports not only cause a great economic loss but also harm many aspects of the development of our country.Against trade protectionism, studying its influence on Chinese agricultural export in the post-crisis era and offering some advice have strong practical significance to improve the international competitiveness. This paper first reviews the related concepts and theories. Then it analyzes the export of agricultural products in China, the trade structure and trade characteristics,as well as the forms, characteristics and the development trend of green trade barriers in the post-crisis era, taking major markets-the United States,Japan and the EU for examples to further illustrate. The empirical analysis in the fourth chapter is the focus of this article, concerning qualitative and quantitative perspectives. The qualitative analysis research the mechanism of action and economic benefits of green trade barriers on the basis of economic theories while quantitative analysis construct the gravity model and the principal component analysis model which select main export markets as sample countries, demonstrate barrier property and driving factors of green trade barriers, and evaluate the motives of sample countries. Finally put forward the corresponding countermeasures: government guidance, industry collaboration and the upgrading of enterprises.
