With the development of the fourth industrial revolution,enterprise technology innovation has changed from an isolated system to a non-linear open-type activity process.Under the "open innovation" model,enterprises can use the knowledge across organizational boundaries.The breakthrough of Yunnan liquid metals new materials industry is bringing disruptive changes in the fields of thermal energy,advanced manufacturing,smart machines as well as bio-medicine.Therefore,in the era of open innovation,we will deeply study how organizations in the industry can quickly identify and digest external new knowledge,integrate internal and external innovation resources,apply them new products or services,and finally leverage internal R&D to stimulate external value,which is critical to industrial technology innovation activities.In this process,absorptive capacity plays a pivotal role.Based on the field investigation,this thesis deeply explores the status quo and development ideas of open innovation of Yunnan liquid metals new materials industry,especially the empirical research on factors affecting the industrial absorptive capacity.Based on this,the paper gives measures for improving the absorptive capacity,which can provide reference for the governments to improve industrial absorptive capacity.
