| Due to the process of urbanization in the past 40 years,a large amount of inventory building has been produced in the city.These inventory spaces gradually become marginalized with the development of cities and become the major settlements for a large number of migrant workers.The “urban village” is an alternative product under this background.“Complex,diverse,self-growth,non-standardization” are its synonyms.Faced with these urban problems,the most dominant attitude in the renovation of the "Urban Village" is the massive overthrow and reset.The standardized urban planning makes urban appearance tend to be homogeneous and unitary.Nowadays,the "Urban Village" has become a complex contradiction under the game with the top-down rights planning and the bottom-up personalized production.In this context,the response strategy began to gradually shift to small-scale micro-regional intervention.Respecting individual self-development,focusing on daily life and encouraging residents to participate in interaction.This renewal model is a kind of personalized reproduction,which is tailor-made for the place.The Seventh Shenzhen & Hong Kong Bi-city Biennale of Urbanism Architecture(UABB)came into being under such a background with its biggest highlight that the exhibition site is set in "Urban Village",which takes "city symbiosis" as the exhibition theme and implants the entire art exhibition to the daily life in the ancient city of Nantou.Respect history,respect humanity,With a slight,soft art exhibition involved in the ancient city of Nantou,Collection cross-border cooperation between governments,architects,artists,entrepreneurs and villagers,Trying to find a most appropriate and appropriate development model for the ancient city of Nantou,The power of resource integration to activate the exhibition,In an inclusive manner,let the local culture be continued and innovative development and updating.UABB uses art to combine design practice,explore the possibility of city symbiosis,On the whole,it is a far-reaching “Nantou experiment”.The future of urban renewal and development of a certain enlightenment.As one of the project of the seventh UABB which is jointly held by School of Architecture & Applied Arts and Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and Department of Architecture Taiwan Shih Chien University,Workshop "Interweave and Involve" conducted experiment of five different aspects,which is another level of “Nantou experiment ”for the whole UABB.Therefore,the author takes “Nantou Experiment” as a topic,in response to this unique “Nantou” Biennale,as well as the two different scales,different degrees and different directions for the Nantou experiment of the "Interweave and Involve" workshops,analyzes the practical impact and function of this light art intervention on the local area,trying to explore the feasibility of art combined with design practice in the renovation of "Urban Village".Finally,the author conduct a small level and specific " Nantou Chun Jing Street experiment" as a graduation design in her own perspective.Through these three different levels of Nantou experiment the whole article fully explains the possibility of art intervention for the realization of urban symbiosis,provides a new way of thinking and mode for the future development of urban renewal. |
