With the gradual expansion of the construction market in China,the engineering cost specialty,as a new specialty,is favored by more and more students.The major of engineering cost in secondary vocational schools is to train professional talents with special skills,and to lay stress on training students' professional post ability.Through the investigation of the present teaching situation of students and teachers in secondary vocational schools,it is found that there are some problems in the teaching of professional courses,such as students' low interest in learning,the separation of theory teaching from practice and the singleness of teaching evaluation,the teaching reform is urgently needed in vocational schools.The curriculum reform should focus on training professional skills and solving the problem of disconnection between curriculum theory and practice,starting from training students' professional ability and meeting the needs of their jobs,based on the teaching practice of secondary vocational schools,the paper puts forward the idea of applying project teaching method in the skill training of engineering cost specialty,with a view to better improve the post skills of students,to adapt to future jobs.Based on the educational and teaching theories of CONSTRUCTIVISM,pragmatism and action-oriented theory,and combining the characteristics of students,this paper explores the paths of project teaching and the problems needing attention.Through the investigation of the needs of students,teachers and enterprises,this paper has found out the present teaching situation of engineering cost specialty in secondary vocational schools,analyzed the prominent problems and contradictions in teaching,and made a feasibility analysis on project teaching.This paper selects two courses "architectural CAD" and "architectural engineering measurement and valuation" to carry out project-based teaching design,and expounds the project teaching design from the aspects of course analysis,project design principles,project teaching implementation flow,etc.,the case of project-based teaching design is listed and put into practice.In practice,a comparative experiment is carried out,and different teaching methods are used in teaching.After the experiment,two classes are compared and analyzed,it is found that project teaching method has obvious effect on improving students' professional skills.The method of teaching evaluation has also been reformed.The process evaluation is combined with the result evaluation,and the skill test is added on the basis of the theory examination.Through the application of project teaching method in skill training,this paper aims at improving students' learning interest and comprehensive ability,cultivating students' innovative spirit,and constructing a new teaching model,so that teachers can change their roles in time,by changing from lecturer to guide,changing teaching methods,improving teaching efficiency,reforming and innovating teaching evaluation,cultivating more qualified skilled talents,this paper provides a Operability plan for implementing project teaching in secondary vocational schools,sum Up the General Law of the implementation of project teaching method.
