Investigation And Research Of Tainan Art Space

Since the beginning of the 21 st century,Taiwan Province has adopted the cultural and creative industries as its key developing plan,and the industries have gradually form a scale in the region.The share of the industries in the entire region has doubled in more than 10 years,increased from 2.3%(2002)to 5%(2015).According to Taiwan's 2016 Annual Report on Cultural and Creative Industry,62,985 cultural and creative industries have been set up in 2015,of which cultural assets and exhibition facilities have been growing rapidly at a rate of 17.83%,while Tainan has ranged the top five cities in Taiwan with 4166 industries and it has the highest growth rates in the cultural industries in the six major cities in the province in 2015.The art space group in Tainan has made outstanding contributions.Tainan City is under the jurisdiction of Taiwan Province of China,located in the south western part of Taiwan's Chia-Nan Plain,in the west of Taiwan Strait and the east of Alishan Mountains.In 2015,the city has an area of 2192 square kilometers and has a population of 1,886,000 people.It is the fourth largest city in Taiwan province.Tainan city has a long history and is the ancient cultural capital of Taiwan Province.In the course of the application and development of cultural assets in Tainan City,the idle space resources of Tainan are transformed from the original monuments display at the beginning to the direction of cultural creativity and have got some achievements in the Art Street and Art Space area.Due to the relatively complete preservation of the ancient city style,many idle ancient houses and buildings have been regenerated in the cultural and creative industries which have special characteristics that different from Arts and Cultural Parks in Taipei and Kaohsiung city.They naturally blend in the life of the city,and also enrich and innovate the art form of the city.Combining with the existing literature and research results at this stage,this paper will analyze the special historical and cultural atmosphere in Tainan and the characteristics of ancient architecture as well as the interviews and knowledge of the curators in Tainan,and analyze the ancient houses and art performances in Tainan.Combined with the development of special models and experiences in order to have a full understanding of the development of this special art space ans seek inspiration for the development of other cultural industries in some ancient cities that also have a long history and to develop their own characteristics in the mainland Art space to make recommendations.
