Takemitsu ASTERISM's Technical Characteristics And Its Symbolic Meaning

Toru Takemitsu(1930-1996),a 20 th century Japanese composer,his work has a distinctive personality.Based on its full church for piano and orchestra of ASTERISM as the research object,analyzing the core material,orchestral instruments techniques such as features,explore the symbolic implication of works implied,in order to find the technique characteristics and the correlation of the symbolic meaning of music composer and inner pursuit.The article includes three chapters.The first chapter gives an overview of the creative process,the staging of the works and the creation background of ASTERISM.The second movement analyzes and summarizes the technical characteristics of the work,mainly including core material,structure,orchestration,and texture.The third movement analyzes the symbolic meaning implied by the works and finds the organic connection between the technical features and the symbolic ones.Thus,the improvement of the concept from specific technical language to music is realized.
