Research On Ma Gongyu's Seal And Official Calligraphy

Magongyu is a scholar,Zhouding,stone carvings,long-term resident in the Shanghai,is an outstanding representative of the sea culture.From the 1930 s and 1940 s until the 1960 s and 1970 s after the founding of the People's Republic of China,Magongyu and Shenyinmo,Panboying,White Canna and other people held high standards in Shanghai,and their joint efforts led to the revival of the School after more than 300 years of decline.The author now lives in the Shanghai,has a strong interest in the sea group of calligraphers and research is more convenient.Mr.Magongyu is the four characters of the seal seal,especially the seal script and grass.This paper collects pictures of his calligraphy works from the youth to the old age,mainly mixed with pictures of a few seal inscriptions,tries to analyze his artistic thoughts and calligraphy style,and makes some preliminary observations on Ma's achievements in calligraphy carving,which were seldom noticed in the past...
