Euphemism is produced with the creation of taboos,which exists in the languages of all ethnic groups and embodies the culture of a nation.Chinese euphemism has a certain cultural implication from the beginning,and has continued to date,and has evolved into a unique Chinese euphemism.It has also become an indispensable language phenomenon.Foreign language teaching is the teaching of Chinese as a second language,its purpose is to enable the learners to skilled use of language communication,so that learners can avoid unnecessary embarrassment and conflict can make the communication go smoothly in cross-cultural communication.And language learning is inseparable from the infiltration of culture,so understanding Chinese culture can help Chinese learners get better communication skills.Chinese euphemism,as an important part of Chinese,has certain cultural implication,which contains our unique culture,way of thinking and sense of concept.While Chinese learners not only learn language,but also learn Chinese culture.Therefore,it is very important to learn Chinese euphemism.Chinese learning and cultural learning complement each other,which can not only improve learners' Chinese level,but also increase learners' accumulation of Chinese culture,so it's necessary to set euphemisms as teaching contents.Based on the study of the definition,classification,function,culture and thinking mode of Chinese euphemism,this paper discusses the teaching of euphemism in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The first part is the "Developing Chinese Advanced Speaking Course"(2nd Edition)I and II two textbooks of euphemism in classify and make statistics;the second part is the design of the questionnaire,a questionnaire survey was conducted on two students learning this textbook,and statistical analysis of survey results;the third part is based on the analysis of textbook and the results of questionnaires to explore the teaching strategies of Chinese euphemism teaching.
