Gabriel Urbain Faure(1845-1924)was one of the most influential and representative composers in France from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century.He created many musical works of different genres throughout his life.Among his works,vocal art music works are recognized as the most important part.The vocal art music "Poeme d'un Jour" is created by Faure during the second period of his career.It is also from this work that Faure began to create vocal music sets.This article takes the creation characteristics of Poeme d'un Jour as the main research content.Through the analysis of the changes in the characters' inner feelings and plots,the author analyzes the lyrics,form,harmony and piano part of it.
