Analysis Of The First "Han-teaching Heroes" Summer Camp Competition

Sponsored by Confucius Institute Headquarters(Hanban),the first “Chinese Language Teaching Idols” was held on the basis of the previous two “Confucius Institute Cup” MTCSOL Teaching Competitions.As the highest lever of competition currently,it is a great event for Chinese education.More than 700 Chinese and overseas students of MTCSOL from 84 universities and colleges nationwide participated in the contest.This contest is an effective attempt to promote the language and cultural accomplishment of students of MTCSOL and improve their teaching practice from the whole.The four television competitions of the summer camp became the precious visual data for researching students' ability.The analysis of the competition and its competitors and the thinking of improving the quality of talents training can enrich the study of the international Chinese teaching and the international promotion of Chinese to a certain extent.This paper is divided into three parts: the introduction,main body and the conclusion.The introduction describes the background and significance of the topic,the status of the research and the research plan of the program.The main body of the text analyzes the first “Chinese Language Teaching Idols”from the following aspects: the origin,meaning,content and inspiration of the competition,the performance and abilities of the contestants.It consists of five parts:The first part mainly summarizes the teaching competition of MTCSOL,and combs the basic situation of the “Confucius Institute Cup” and “Chinese Language Teaching Idols”.Part two,part three and part four are the focus of this paper.It focuses on the analysis of the contestants in the four TV game.The first point is to examine the Chinese performance of foreign players.The second one is to analyze Chinese and foreign players mastering of Chinese cultural and intercultural communication.The third one is to explore Chinese teaching ability and talent specialties of Chinese and foreign players.The fifth part is mainly the evaluation of the competition and the players.as well as the inspiration of the competition on the training of students of MTCSOL.It analyzes the effect of the TV competition,and puts forward some suggestions for the organizers,universities,and contestants.Finally,it raises the enlightenment of the first “Chinese Language Teaching Idols” for training of students.On the basis of combing the whole chapter,the conclusion further clarifies the important role of the first“Chinese Language Teaching Idols” competition in the training of talents,and brings forward some improvements for future research.
