With the advancement of the new curriculum reform and the information technology,it is an inevitable trend to apply the modern educational teaching into the English class.The use of information technology is a great help for stimulating students' interest,increasing the amount of teaching information,and improving the teaching efficiency in English class of primary school.However,there are plenty of problems in information technology in the current English class of students,which leads to the dissatisfaction of the teaching effect.Besides,because of the unique characteristics of the primary students,it is significant to use the information technology correctly and efficiently,which plays an important role in developing students' English learning and speaking ability.Under the guidance of the Constructive Theory,Education Communication Theory,Gardiner's theory of Multiple Intelligences and the related psychology theory,by means of literature research,classoom observation and interview,this paper makes a practical study on the integration of English teaching and information technology in primary schools.First,it reviews the relevant literature at home and broad,providing the theoretical basis for the research.Secondly,through the design of classroom observation,interviews with primary school English classroom in the use of the integration of English teaching and information technology research,analysis of the problems.Finally,based on the causes of the problem,the author puts forward the suggestions of improving the integration of English teaching and information technology in primary school English teaching.It is hoped that this study will add to the application of information technology in primary English teaching and help the majority of English teachers to effectively understand and reflect on the integration of English teaching and information technology in primary school.
