Dialect data recorded by ancient chorography is an important material for studying local dialects. This paper exhaustively collects Shandong local chronicles from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, sorting out 25 kinds of Shandong local chronicles containing dialect Materials. On the basis of fully absorbing and referring to the research results of the former scholars, this paper describes in detail the dialect characteristics of initials, finals and tones in Shandong local chronicles in the form of a regional division of dialects. At the same time,in the process of discussion, the diachronic phonological evolution of the dialect phonetic features and special phonetic phenomenon are analyzed and explored.Through summary and induction, draw the following conclusions:1.Initials.Compared with the modern Shandong dialect, the ancient "RI(?)initial",as well as the five initials "YING(?)YI(?)YUN(?)YI(?)WEI(?)"has fewer pronunciation forms, most read zero-initial;The pronunciation of "ZHI(?)group","ZHUANG(?)group" and "ZHANG(?)group" initials have two kinds of explanation, through its cross-relationship with "JING(?)group" and "JIAN(?)group" initials; The Sharp initial and Round(?)initial have not merged together in Shandong eastern dialects during the period of the Republic of China. In other words, the pronunciation of "JING(?)group" initial before "XI final" has not been palatalized and is similar to JING(?)group" initial before "HONG final" And,JIAN(?)group"initial before "XI final" has been palatalized,it's pronunciation turned into the alveo-palatal sound; The literary and colloquial pronunciation of Round(?)initial appears in various dialect areas of Shandong.Comparring with modern Shandong dialect, the Republic of China has more word of literary and colloquial pronunciation.2.Finals.The rhymes with "RU(?)tone" had been disappeared. It's pronunciation has no obvious regional boundaries, most are similar to the modern Shandong dialect. For example, the pronunciation of "JUE(?)rhyme" and "YAO(?)rhyme" is "ye rhyme" or "iao rhyme";the characters of first-rank "XIAN(?)group" and "SHAN(?)group" with laryngeal or teeth initials and RU(?)tone are pronounced as "a" or "ia".Some chorography also have different aspects from the current Shandong dialect where they are located. For example,in "Wei Xian Zhi Gao(??????)",the characters of first or seond-rank "ZENG(?)group" and "GENG(?)group" with KAIKOU(??)and RU(?)tone are read as "o" and "e",even if they read "ai" and "ei" in Mandarin.3.Tonal aspects.Tune class merger,as well as the Ru tone with voiceless initial merge with YINPING(??)tone and SHANG(?)tone are the main tone characteristic of dialect data recorded in Shandong local chronicles from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. At the same time, the phonetic phenomenon of the Ru tone with voiceless initial merge with YINPING(??)tone in Jiao Zhou dialect, like "Jiao Zhou Zhi(?????)" and "Zeng Xiu Jiao Zhi(??????)",was left over from Ji Lu Northern Mandarin(????).4.Due to the fragmentary nature of dialect data that recorded by Shandong chorography, many of the special pronunciation words are included. We have analyzed some of them in more detail.Because of my knowledge is still shallow, further study is needed.
