Objective: This study is based on theories of group dynamics and career development by a junior high school class career group guidance program,and through group counseling intervention in the form of the project for the promotion of junior high school students' self-concept and career maturity of the promotion effect of counseling.Methods:Method One: The experimental study of the control group before and after the experiment.The subjects were two students of grade one in junior high school in Hangzhou.They were randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control group.Before the experiment,the "career self-concept scale" and "adolescent career development scale" were used to test the students in the experimental class and the control class.The students in the experimental class were taught by self-made career group,45 times a week,a total of eight times.The control group was taught in the form of leaderless group discussion.After the experiment,the same scale was used to test the students in the experimental class and the control class.At the same time,combined with the "group self rating scale" and "group counseling satisfaction rating table" as a supplement to the guidance effect.Three months after the end of the experiment,the experimental group of long-term results tracking.Method Two: Using qualitative research methods to analyze the effect of group counseling.The material of qualitative research is mainly from the activity and the interview with the students in the experimental class after the end of the activity,and the evaluation of the activity and the change of the students in the group counseling satisfaction scale.Results:1?The results of the career self-concept scale(t=-10.430,p<0.01)showed that the level of self-concept of students after the group counseling was significantly improved;2 ? The results showed that the group counseling activities promoted the students' career maturity significantly(t=-10.464,p<0.01);3?In the short-term effect evaluation,the group members are satisfied with the effect of group assistant.The results show that the group assistant activities are effective to improve the junior high school students' career self-concept and promote their career maturity.Conclusions:1?The effectiveness and feasibility of the career group counseling program;2?Class group counseling can effectively improve junior high school students' career self-concept,and has good long-term effect;3?Class group counseling can effectively promote junior high school students' career maturity,and has a good long-term effect.
