Research On Chinese Loan Words In Mongolian Dictionary Published In China After The Founding Of New China

There has been a long-standing relationship between Han and Mongolian since ancient times and their language and culture exchange,along with the mutual influences also started long time ago.This is why there are so many borrowed words from Chinese in Mongolian.These words are not only commonly used by Mongolian,but also are written in literary works,historical records and inscriptions.It is the dictionary that contains the largest vocabulary of a language.Although quite a number of Mongolian dictionaries were compiled before 1949,the number soared after that and hence brought much convenience to people.This essay took twelve popular dictionaries that were created after 1949 as the subject matter and analyzed their borrowed words from Chinese.The dissertation was consists of five parts:introduction,chapter one,chapter two,chapter three and conclusion.The author put the aim of research,research theme,research method and its effect in the introduction part.In Chapter one,based on the encyclopedia,the author explained the general situation of borrowed words from Chinese by the history of that time and expounded the twelve dictionaries,numbered the sum total of the borrowed words and then displayed them with charts.Chapter two was composed of six parts,which divided the borrowed words that had added in twelve dictionaries into six parts.Chapter three made a comparison between the changes in number of the borrowed words and in its writing at length,and then gave opinions about the standard of the borrowed words in a dictionary.In the end,the author made a summary of the essay.
