In the course of the development of video games,many negative problems have gradually emerged.This article attempts to start from the perspective of culture and philosophy,using Gadamer's game theory as a method to discuss the ontological issues of video games.The introductory part of this article introduces the significance of researching electronic games from a philosophical point of view,and reviews the domestic and international research on video games.The first chapter of this article focuses on the game ontology and video game ontology.The game theory is systematically understood by dividing the game theory into traditional parts and modern parts.And the theoretical basis of this article-Gadamer's game theory has a reference section in detail.After that,the concept of video game was integrated into it,and Gadamer's game ontology was discussed about the enlightenment of video game research,and the key concept of this paper was put forward: video game ontology.The second chapter of this article takes the "gameplay" of video game ontology as the main concept,and proposes the combination of "gameability" is the possibility of unlimited innovation and the possibility of perfect integration.Through the study of "gameplay",we can recognize the uniqueness of video games.The third chapter of this article takes the "role experience" of video game ontology two as the main concept,and studies it from two aspects: space and time.Through the study of the character experience,the issue of the main body of the game is raised to the problem of game ontology.At the end of the thesis,the article summarizes the main content and viewpoints of the article,and puts forward the innovations and deficiencies of this paper's writing.
