Research On The Efficiency And Influence Mechanism Of Cultural And Creative Industries In 31 Provinces And Cities In My Country

Cultural and creative industry is a new type of industry driven by human creativity and cultural elements.Nowadays,the world economy has entered the innovation-driven stage,and cultural and creative industry is becoming an important engine for the social and economic development of a country or region.In the context of economic transformation,various regions in China are vigorously promoting the development of cultural and creative industries.At the national strategic level,cultural and creative industries are also clearly cultivated as pillar industries.Although the cultural and creative industry is booming in China,it is still in the primary stage of extensive development compared with developed countries.The problems of low efficiency and unbalanced regional development of cultural and creative industry are increasingly prominent.Under the background of the new era,the cultural and creative industry is in urgent need of high-quality development,and the overall improvement of industrial efficiency is particularly critical.Therefore,this paper takes the research on the efficiency of cultural and creative industry in 31 provinces and cities of China as the entry point,analyzes the differences of efficiency and its influencing mechanism in different regions,and puts forward some thoughts and Suggestions on the high-quality development of cultural and creative industry.This paper systematically sorts out the literature and materials of cultural and creative industry efficiency and its influencing mechanism,defines the concept of cultural and creative industry efficiency based on the characteristics of cultural and creative industry,and makes a comparative analysis with the efficiency of traditional industries.Based on the above theoretical analysis,it is believed that the efficiency of cultural and creative industry is jointly determined by the industrial structure,industrial scale and environmental variables,while the core mechanisms affecting regional industrial efficiency are quite different.Therefore,the data envelopment analysis method based on principal component analysis was adopted to carry out an empirical study on the efficiency of cultural and creative industry and the differentiation of its influence mechanism in 31 provinces and cities.By comparing the changes of efficiency and scale return of cultural and creative industry in 31 provinces and cities before and after the elimination of environmental variables,the paper draws a conclusion and puts forward some thoughts and suggestions on the high-quality development of cultural and creative industry.The empirical results show that the efficiency of cultural and creative industry in 31 provinces and cities in China is not high as a whole,presenting a phenomenon of high efficiency in the east and low in the west,and the influencing mechanism is quite different.The low efficiency in the eastern region is mainly due to the industrial structure and limited impact of scale efficiency,so it is urgent to improve the industrial structure.The first reason for the low efficiency in the central region is the unreasonable industrial structure,and the second reason is that the industrial scale has not reached the optimal level.The most critical factor for the low efficiency in the western region is that the input and output are seriously out of proportion due to the interference of environmental variables,followed by the industrial structure and scale efficiency.Therefore,the external environment should be improved first,then the industrial structure should be improved,and finally the industrial scale should be expanded.
