The Application Of Task-based Teaching Method In Chinese Teaching In Thailand

With the increasingly close exchanges between China and Thailand,Chinese is becoming more and more popular in Thailand,and the number of volunteer Chinese teachers sent to Thailand is also increasing.Task-based approach,as a new teaching method,has been widely used in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in recent years,which has played a certain role in improving learners' language skills.This paper briefly introduces the situation of Chinese language teaching in Thai Hele District and the school where I teach.By investigating the application of task-based teaching method in the classroom by teachers volunteers in Hele District,taking part of the task-based teaching practice taught by the author in Thailand as an example,combining with students' feedback on Task-based Chinese teaching,this paper analyses the present situation of Chinese teachers in using this teaching method.As well as the advantages and disadvantages of task-based teaching method,this paper puts forward some strategies to deal with these problems,hoping to have some positive impact on Chinese teaching in the future.
