This paper mainly analyses the current situation of Confucius Institutes in the United States.By designing questionnaires and conducting individual interviews with volunteers of Confucius Institutes in the United States,the basic situation,teaching situation,teachers and students of Confucius Institutes in the United States are analyzed and summarized in the light of information from the official websites of the Chinese Office and the Confucius Ins The author finds that the Confucius Institutes in the United States have achieved excellent results under the current operating conditions,but there are also some shortcomings.At the same time,the author puts forward some suggestions from the perspective of Chinese and cultural communication in China,hoping that the Confucius Institutes in the United States can improve themselves and achieve better development.First of all,from the analysis of the teaching situation of Confucius Institutes in the United States,the author draws the conclusion that the curriculum of Confucius Institutes in the United States is not balanced and the teaching materials need to be improved.Secondly,by analyzing the situation of teachers and students in Confucius Institutes in the United States,the author draws the conclusion that teachers in Confucius Institutes in the United States are highly mobile,which will affect the quality of teaching to a certain extent.Finally,combined with the causes of various problems,the author believes that China and the United States should pay attention to the balanced setting of courses and the construction of teaching materials,and at the same time,we should cultivate a stable teaching staff,so that the development of Confucian Colleges in the United States can go up to a higher level.
