This paper compares the development status and achievements of the two Confucius Institutes in Belarus,investigates the students and teachers of Confucius Institutes,and then discusses the existing problems in the current development of Confucius Institutes in Belarus,and present suggestions for improving and solving these problems.Firstly,the present situation of The Confucius Institutes in Belarus is investigated and analyzed.The characteristics of the Confucius Institutes are as follows: the Chinese teaching has its own characteristic advantages and pertinence,the trend of independent Chinese education,and the Chinese teaching institutions are gradually enriched.Curriculum lacks of diversity;The development of Chinese teaching is rapid and the scale is large.Various types of cultural activities and academic communication.Secondly,according to the survey samples of teachers and students in Belarus,the analysis results are as follows: learners have a long career span in age;learners are mainly instrumental in learning motivation;learners have a high degree of learning satisfaction;learners' learning expectation is mainly based on practicality.Teachers have high enthusiasm for teaching,lack of experience,and are satisfied with all aspects.Finally,it is concluded from the above investigation and analysis that the existing problems of The Confucius Institutes in Belarus are as follows: insufficient motivation of learners,unstable teaching staff and lack of experience,single curriculum,language system and difference in thinking that affect the teaching effect,disunity of teaching management between Chinese and foreign sides,and lack of practical application training of learners.I put forward the following strategies:optimize course management,organize teaching training and improve teaching management to promote cooperative teaching,and innovate the way of cultural communication.Suggestions on teaching include improving teaching methods and models,changing teaching concepts,and attaching importance to Chinese culture teaching.
