As people pay more and more attention to the humanistic spirit, the awareness of pursuing the quality of life is also increasing. At the end of the life, more people want to die with dignity.Hospice care is also concerned by more and more people. With the rise of hospice care, the demand for comprehensive and professional palliative care is becoming more and more urgent. This paper focuses on the translation practice and research analysis of chapters 59 and 60 of the Advanced Practice Palliative Nursing published by Oxford University press in 2016,by Constance Dahlin,Patrick j.Coyne and Betty r.Ferrell.The original text is a medical text that describes the palliative care methods in various diseases.Through the chapter of pediatric palliative care, the translator studies and discusses the problems in the translation practice, such as the translation of proper nouns related to palliative care and the translation of common words in the medical context,as well as the translation of passive sentences and long and difficult sentences. The translator analyzes the medical professional vocabulary and sentences and summarizes the relevant translation problems and their solutions. It is hoped that it can be used for reference in the future translation of similar texts.
