Since 2005,music festivals that have sprung up everywhere have become a phenomenon of music culture that attracts attention.The independent musicians and their sub-cultural groups,which have been in the minority,have begun to appear in the public's field of vision through frequent exposure of the media.With the penetration of the Internet into the daily life of the masses and the diversified development of online culture,independent music,which is different from popular pop music,is a form of subculture music.Its influence is constantly expanding.From underground to the ground,it is sought after by young people.And even have the trend of entering the mainstream.The cultural study of independent music is not only a study of subculture phenomena,but also a study of social music phenomena.Based on the Birmingham School's subculture theory and communication theory,this paper comprehensively sorts out the development of Chinese independent music,subculture interpretation,subculture communication,and the relationship between mainstream cultural collection and anti-receipt,in new media,globalization,Under the social environment in which many factors such as consumerism are intertwined,the process of production and dissemination of the subculture meaning of Chinese independent music and the changes of values and lifestyles of young people in the new context are explained.Explore the ways of China's independent music subculture in contemporary sustainable development and healthy communication.
