Research On Chinese Independent Folk Aesthetics

Since the late 20th century,popular culture has gradually emerged and become more and more popular in China.The life style of Chinese people has undergone great changes.Modern music,as a part of modern culture,plays a very important role in people's life,and the Independent folk music among them presents the characteristic which is different from the general mass culture.Independent folk music,which lies between elite culture,popular culture and subculture,embody the awakening trend of Chinese aesthetic taste,and represent one of the rich cultural forms in contemporary China.This paper takes Independent folk music as the research object,and uses Abrams' s theory of four elements of literary activities as the reference in structure,adopting an interdisciplinary research method,to take a cultural research of the Independent folk music and its related elements.Taking independent folk music as a cultural phenomenon,we have explored the aesthetic characteristics of their music text,lyrics text,creation and audience,in the light of the economic and cultural environment of contemporary China,this paper tries to sum up the occurrence form and the social impact of the folk music,and tries to observe the aesthetic characteristics of the Independent folk music from the angles of the text,the author,the readers and the world.The emergence of Chinese Independent folk music is influenced by both Chinese traditional folk music and European and American folk music.Its musical instruments are relatively simple,the original sound is highly advocated and the human voice is highlighted,its subject matter is broad,and its creation and the audience embody the character of the contemporary Chinese vagabond.In essence,Independent folk music is a kind of culture,and their pursuit of authenticity makes them stand out among a large number of replicated cultures.At the same time,the quality of independent folk music works varies,a large number of The Imaginary Invalid works filled with it,and the spiritual pursuit of its main group is not all high grade,this is inseparable from the complexity of the most extensive common people.The relationship between Independent folk music and replicated,commercialized mass culture is ambiguous,it sometimes spreading widely to women and children,and sometimes disappearing into deep alleys,however,as folk music,Independent folk music should aim at spreading for a long time instead of being popular for a short time.It is our eternal pursuit and the direction that all mass culture can strive for to be truly independent-minded and to convey public opinion.
